"Contrepied" is about two kids and their football dreams. One will make it the other won't. Life is reated like a Football game: between play and quarrels, joy and deception… everything revolves around the round world of the ball. Starting with the maternal bellies of the three first dancers, the performance evolves into a flow of impeccable
movements, so very familiar to all football fans.

This show raises the question of human nature and its eternal quest for harmony and adaptation in a complex environment. The energies of different hip hop dance styles weave themselves into a world full of poetry and emotions. Sober and well-balanced staging performed with humour and brilliance.

CHANTIERS EN COURS

 

Promoting and gathering support for hip hop dance performances is the purpose of "Chantiers en cours". In front of an audience of professionals, Five dance companies discovered and accompanied by "Initiatives d'Artistes en Danses Urbaines" perform one stage of their creative process. The conditions are simple, yet they do not compromise the projects: good quality sound, some lights and most importantly sufficient rehearsal time with a technical team at the location of the performance, the "CCNRB". In close collaboration with the Trans Musicales and benefiting from the abundance of offers and the mobilization of professionals, "Les Chantiers" are a unique opportunity to take a sneak peak at five original creations in one afternoon.
